Paul Kopejtka
Paul Kopejtka brings to Crosslands 20 years of mining industry experience, as an engineer and consultant, both in Australia and overseas. Mr Kopejtka has expertise in green and brown fields project evaluation, feasibility study management, plant design, engineering and commissioning. Throughout the 1990s Mr Kopejtka held tenure as a technical consultant with the Minproc and Bateman engineering groups. He has also worked in a similar capacity with a number of major publicly listed companies. Mr Kopejtka holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) degree from Curtin University, Western Australia, specialising in the mineral resources sector.
Trevor Matthews
Trevor Matthews has worked in the resources industry for 20 years and has considerable experience in corporate governance, project development and finance. Mr Matthews has previously held executive positions with North Limited, WMC Resources Limited and other listed entities in both operational and corporate roles. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Mr Matthews is a Certified Practising Accountant and a member of the Financial Services Institute.
John Westdorp
John Westdorp has extensive resource sector experience in Australia and overseas with some of the world's largest global mining companies, including Newmont Australia, North Limited and Robe River Iron Associates. He had 11 years experience at Robe River Iron Associates and was the senior finance member of North Limited's Major Projects Group during the development of Robe River's $1bn West Angelas iron ore mine.
Saburo Takeuchi
Crosslands is proud to have Saburo Takeuchi on its high calibre Board. Mr Takeuchi joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1995, and has extensive experience in the iron ore industry, having been involved in investment, management and marketing of Mitsubishi’s activities in Australia, North America and Latin America. Mr Takeuchi is currently Vice President, Iron Ore Division for Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd and is responsible for iron ore investments in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Keio University, Japan.
Koichi Seri
Koichi Seri holds a Bachelor of Metallurgy degree from the University of Tokyo, Japan. Mr Seri's Key areas of expertise are in investment, management and marketing iron ore and coking coal. Mr Seri joiner Mitsubishi Corporation in 1986. He is currently General Manager Business Development of Mitsubishi Corporation's iron Ore Business Unit and is responsible for iron ore business development activities all over the world.
Noriyuki Tsubonuma
Noriyuki Tsubonuma has worked in management, marketing and investment of various ferrous raw materials including iron ore, coking/thermal coal and uranium for over 25 years on a global basis. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Meiji University, Japan. He joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1983 and currently General Manager of Iron Ore Business Unit in Mitsubishi. Mr Tsubonuma brings to Crosslands additional skills in corporate planning and management to push us up to the next stage of growth. He will enhance our board with his expertise developed through his involvement in various project such as metallurgical coal project in Australia.
