We acknowledge and enjoy our role in contributing towards the social and economic advancement of the mid-west, and helping to provide opportunities for community development.

Our community relations activities remain at the forefront of our business. We promote open and transparent communication, information sharing and feedback. This helps us to understand and address the expectations of individuals and community groups which have an interest in our activities or who might be affected by our operations.

Our community relations program aims to:

• Promote understanding of the mining industry, and of Crosslands’ operations and activities;
• Strengthen our relationship with mid-west communities; and
• Establish a platform of mutual co-operation to support community and economic growth and development.

Crosslands conducts a number of community relations programs, including:

• Briefings, community liaison and information sharing sessions throughout the mid-west.
• Release of information to the media and the publication of regular community updates and advertisements.
• @Heart – Crosslands’ community support program which invites sponsorship applications twice yearly.
• Crosslands liaison group, which meets regularly to discuss matters of mutual interest.
