Crosslands is emerging as a key supplier of high quality Western Australian iron ore to major world markets. We hold mining leases in the Jack Hills and Weld Range Areas of Western Australia’s mid-west region, about 380 kilometres north-east of Geraldton. Our focus is on safe, sustainable, environmentally sensitive mining operations that deliver rewards to our whole community.

Jack Hills is the only area Crosslands has developed to date. This is a significant high grade iron ore deposit, suitable for low cost open pit mining. Our Jack Hills mine currently produces in excess of 1.5 million tonnes of premium grade iron ore lump and fines a year, which is trucked to Geraldton, then shipped to customers in China and Korea.

Geological tests indicate significant iron ore resources remain untapped at Jack Hills, and we are committed to developing this area to its full potential – at the same time delivering growth and job opportunities to the mid-west region and growing our presence within Western Australia’s iron ore industry.

Crosslands is also investing in further exploration. We are looking for new mineral deposits to develop, both at Jack Hills and at our other leases in the mid-west region. Initial test results look positive and Crosslands is confident we will enjoy a long and prosperous future.
